ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (EIA) CONSULTANCY
Our company provides Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) consultancy services to businesses in accordance with the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation (published in the Official Gazette No. 31907 dated 29.07.2022).
EIA Certificate / Decision Obligations and Scope of Service
The aim of the EIA Regulation is to anticipate all potential adverse environmental impacts of planned activities and ensure that the necessary preventive measures are taken. Therefore, all project owners are required to obtain one of the following: an “EIA Positive Decision”, “EIA Not Required Decision”, or “Out of Scope Confirmation.”
A) For facilities listed in Annex-1 of the Regulation or those requiring an EIA:
- Preparation of the EIA application file,
- Submission of the EIA Report to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Coordination and communication with the Ministry,
- Participation in the Public Information and Stakeholder Engagement meetings,
- Preparation of the full EIA Report.
B) For facilities listed in Annex-2 of the Regulation:
- Preparation of the Project Introduction File,
- Submission of the file to the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change,
- Coordination with the Ministry, Municipality, and other relevant institutions.
C) For organizations not listed in Annex-1 or Annex-2:
- Preparation of a petition and application file demonstrating that the facility is out of scope,
- Submission to the Provincial Directorate, and ensuring full communication and coordination with relevant authorities.
Within this framework, our company provides technical and administrative support to project owners to ensure that all EIA-related processes (Positive, Not Required, or Out of Scope) are conducted in full compliance with the regulations.
