CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT (KKDİK / SEA / BEKRA-SEVESO) CONSULTANCY
To protect human health and the environment from the adverse effects of chemicals, our Chemical Assessment Experts provide consultancy services under the following regulations, managing the control, monitoring, and registration processes of chemical substances placed on the market.
A) Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDİK – 23.06.2017/30105)
Companies that manufacture, import, or use chemicals must evaluate the substances they use and their role in the process (manufacturer, importer, downstream user, distributor, etc.) in accordance with KKDİK.
Based on this evaluation, they are responsible for ensuring the safe use of chemicals and protecting human health and the environment.
We provide comprehensive consultancy services to companies falling under these obligations, including:
Registration and pre-registration of chemicals,
Preparation of safety data sheets,
Managing “Only Representative” processes,
Direct communication with EU regulatory authorities and data holders to ensure faster and more reliable access to required information.

B) Regulation on the Classification, Labelling, and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (SEA – 11.12.2013/28848)
Manufacturers, importers, and downstream users must classify substances and mixtures before placing them on the market and register those defined under this regulation.
We evaluate the requested chemicals and ensure their proper registration in accordance with legal requirements.
C) Regulation on the Prevention and Mitigation of Major Industrial Accidents (BEKRA – 02.03.2019/30702)
Operators are required to take all necessary measures to prevent major accidents and minimize their impact on human health and the environment.
Our experts determine the facility’s level (upper-tier, lower-tier, or out of scope), manage BEKRA notifications, and prepare the following documents as required:
• Major Accident Scenario Document,
• Major Accident Prevention Policy,
• Safety Report,
• Internal Emergency Response Plan.
